Awesome photo! Uh…I didn’t see these guys running down the beach…I think I would have remembered that…lol…in fact, I KNOW I would have remembered that…haha…they weren’t further down on Cocoa Beach, more towards the base?
I have some photos on my blog of the Canaveral Beach erosion during and post Fay, in fact I tracked it through photos for the three days. Distressing to say the least.
But I have to say, I loved seeing all the surfers come out and the kite surfers who I’d never seen before.
I love the other shot of downtown Melbourne. I have yet to make it down there but I am planning a trip real soon.
Nice to meet you, btw!

Thanks la, I went to the pier and saw surfers rippin it up, but I didn’t use my camera. I’m just glad Gustav isn’t headed this way.

lol…you haven’t added anything new!
So will Hanna hit us? Do you think?
BTW, I’m so lost here…where is “up by Mckinley” from me? I looked on the map and I didn’t see such a place, but I admit, I might have overlooked it (tho I looked pretty hard…lol)

I just posted a pic of VIP Island. I bet you did look hard, you never know if Hanna may send a few more of those pararescuers to the beach
I’m hoping Hanna will just bring us a few big waves. And McKinley is just north of the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral city line.
